How does it work?

It's simple: you fill in the online questionnaire with one finger. We ask you a series of questions to determine your unique hair condition and personal hair wishes. After this, we will formulate the products tailored for you. The test gives us a complete overview of everything that can affect your hair and scalp needs. We then process your answers and use previous factors to determine the unique blend of ingredients needed to create your personalized recipe. The result is a shampoo and/or conditioner especially for you!

How do I complete the questionnaire?

Each question you are asked will display answers from which to choose. We have made this as visual as possible. Some questions may require additional explanation, which you will find as a tip at the bottom of your questionnaire. Below the question you will find a button and you can easily go back or forward a question. If you can't figure it out, don't hesitate to contact us via the chat, via or by calling 0575-509900.

How do I choose the right fragrance?

Nothing is as personal as scent, yet we have tried to select most of the favorite scents for you. Our fragrances are synthetic, ie they are not natural. It is also possible to choose a perfume-free formula. Which products can I order from you?

You can order a shampoo and/or conditioner from us.

Are the ingredients you use all natural?

Our formulas are largely natural, about 96%. We do not use silicones, microplastics, parabens and sulphates.

What are Silicones?

We avoid using silicones in your formula. We prefer to use vegetable oils, including macadamia oil. These are not only better for you, but also for the environment. Silicones do not contain any active substances and therefore do not add anything to your hair. They only form a (plastic) layer over your hair. If you have not used silicone-free products before, it may therefore take you a while to get used to it.

What are Parabens?

In short, parabens are preservatives. They are the most commonly used preservatives in cosmetics. Only a small amount of parabens is needed to make a product keep well. Parabens are absorbed into the skin and enter the tissues of the body. There are many parabens and some are safer than others. The discussion about safety is still going on. We have decided to go for 100% safety, which is why we do not use this substance.

What Are Sulfates?

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are substances that are used in combination with water to cleanse your hair or skin. They dissolve oil and grease and provide a good dose of foam and are a cheap ingredient. SLS causes the necessary irritations because the stuff affects the skin barrier, it destroys the outer layer of the skin, as it were. SLES actually does the same thing, but is slightly less intense. Unfortunately, they are commonly used ingredients in shampoos. In the shampoos of FNGRPRNTS we use coco-clucoside, which is made from dried coconut flesh and is mild to the skin, a good and healthy alternative.

What are Microplastics?

Microplastics are very small particles of plastic that you often cannot see with the naked eye. These are often used in shampoos to ensure that they are easier to wash out, to clean the scalp better or for the stability of the formula. While you are in the shower, a lot of plastic particles disappear into the drain. These particles, because they are so small to be filtered and are not degradable, end up in the environment. Our oceans in particular have to contend with microplastics that are then eaten by fish and other ocean inhabitants. Reason enough for FNGRPRNTS to free its formulas from this, for everyone, unhealthy mess.

Are your products vegan?

We love animals and that's why all our shampoos and conditioners are vegan. This means that we have not killed or used any animals in the production of our products, but also that the products do not contain any animal ingredients, not even from living animals or animals that are cared for in an 'animal-friendly' way. Examples include silk, honey or beeswax.

Are your products tested on animals?

Animal testing-free cosmetics are sometimes confused with vegan cosmetics. Animal testing-free cosmetics means that no animal testing has been carried out during production and on the end product. Within Europe, since 2013, it has been forbidden to conduct animal tests for cosmetics. Unfortunately, this does not yet apply to the major other parts of the world. Our products are therefore not tested on animals

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

FNGRPRNTS is packaged with recycled PET. Currently, only 9% of the world's plastics are recycled. We are determined to change these stats and reduce plastic by making our world a cleaner place and reusing the plastic in the packaging of your hair care products. We chose a brown bottle and that is very deliberate. Brown is the color of earth, wood, stone, of course, warmth and is often associated with the seasons. The color brown has a beneficial effect on your body and mind by creating the feeling of peace, stability, warmth and relaxation.

Is the shipping box environmentally friendly?

The shipping box contains an interior in which one or two products are 'fixed'. This ensures that the bottle remains in place during transport. The box is made of FSC certified cardboard. A symbol on the box recommends recycling it with the waste paper.

What will I find in my account?

As soon as you fill in the questions of the quiz, you have the choice to order as a guest or to create an account. You will receive an email about this. If you choose to buy from us as a guest, your answers will not be saved. If you want to order again next time, you will have to fill in the questionnaire again. If you do create an account, we will save your answers and you can easily use them again or adjust them if your hair goals change. If you do not complete the questions in one go and continue at a later time, your already completed answers will be saved. An online hair passport is also created. Here you will find your tailor-made formula, your hair wishes and instructions for use. If your hair wishes change later, or maybe you want to try a different scent, you can make the changes in your account so that a new formula is put together for you.

Help! I forgot my password, what can I do?

That happens to the best, don't panic! Click on 'forgot password', enter your e-mail address and we will send you a link by e-mail with which you can create a new password. Dissolved! You can log in again. Didn't receive an email? Then check your junk mail because you may well find the mail there. If this does not work, please contact our customer service via chat, via or via 0575-509900.

Do I pay shipping costs?

If you order a shampoo and conditioner (set) and you live in the Netherlands, you do not pay any shipping costs.
If you only order a shampoo or conditioner, you pay € 3.95 shipping costs.
If you live outside the Netherlands but within Europe, we charge € 6.95 shipping costs.
If you live outside Europe, we unfortunately have to charge you € 25.00 in shipping costs.

If I have placed an order, when will I receive my order at home?

Because the formulas are made especially for you, it takes a little longer than usual before you can expect your package at home. We assume a delivery time between 3 and 6 days within the Netherlands. Within Europe this will be 6 days or more. Of course you can track your package via a track & trace code that you receive from us as soon as the package has left our warehouse.

Which party will deliver my package?

During checkout you can choose whether DHL or PostNL will deliver your package or whether you will pick it up yourself at a delivery point of DHL or PostNL. Are you not at home during the day? No problem, you can also have your package delivered in the evenings. You pay € 2.25 for this.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail after placing the order. Did you not receive the email? Then check your junk mail because you may find the order confirmation there.

Do the prices you quote in the online shop include VAT?

Yes, all prices listed in our online shop include 21% VAT.

How can I pay with a discount code?

When you go to your shopping cart, you will find a box under your ordered products where you can enter the code. Click on 'apply' to activate it. From that moment on, your discount will be deducted immediately and you can continue ordering. Note: you can only enter 1 discount code at a time.

I have a complaint about an item, what now?

Very annoying! If you have a complaint, we want to resolve it as quickly as possible by finding a suitable solution. Unfortunately, sometimes it can happen that a product turns out not to be in order, or that you are not satisfied with our service. We ask you to contact our customer service as soon as possible via or 0575-509900 so that we can handle the complaint and then resolve it properly for you! You can expect a substantive response from us within 48 hours of receiving the complaint.

My complaint falls outside the warranty period, can I still do something about it?

You can always contact us with a well-founded complaint, even after the warranty period. You can contact our customer service for this if you can reasonably expect that an item will last longer than is the case. We would like to help you in that case and look for a suitable solution!
